Double Decker paratha


Double Decker paratha:

Ingredients for dough

Wheat flour 2 cups
Flour 2 cups
Salt ½ tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp



Ingredients for filling
Chicken tikka shredded 1 cup
Mozzarella cheese 1 cup
Onion finely chopped 4 tbsp
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Green chilies 3 to 4 chopped
Filling for second layer
Cottage cheese 1 cup grated
Sweet corn ½ cup
Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Green chilies 2 to 3 chopped



Method for dough
Combine both the flour, oil, salt, sugar with enough water and knead into a smooth dough, keep aside for 10 minutes, divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into thin round of 7 inch diameter, place 1 uncooked round of dough on a flat surface spread with chicken tikka stuffing, cover with another layer of roti, spread with cheese and corn filling, put 3rd round of roti on top, press firmly to seal edges, cook the double Decker paratha on both sides on low flame adding little ghee, fry till lightly crisp, cut into wedges and serve hot.
