Pizza Doughnut

Pizza Doughnut


Ingredients for Pizza Dough
  • Flour 2 cups
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Instant Yeast 1 ½ tsp
  • Luke Warm Water to knead
Ingredients for Filling
  • Chicken Boiled and Shredded 1 cup
  • Pizza Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Capsicum Finely Chopped 2 tbsp
  • Sweet Corn 2 tbsp
  • Oregano Leaves 1 tsp
  • Pickled Cucumber Chopped 1 tbsp
  • Cabbage Finely Chopped 1 tbsp
  • Cheddar Cheese Grated 1 cup
Method
  • Knead altogether into a soft dough, leave to rise until double, punch dough, make into balls, stuff with pizza filling, dip in egg, roll in crumbs and deep fry.
Method for Filling
  • Mix altogether in a bowl stuffed in pizza doughnut.

Jam Doughnuts

Jam Doughnuts


Ingredients

  • Flour 3 ¾ cup
  • Instant yeast 2 tbsp
  • Caster sugar 3 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Eggs 2 lightly beaten
  • Powder milk 4 tbsp
  • Warm water as required
  • Strawberry jam ½ cup
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Caster sugar ½ cup extra
Method
  • Mix together in a bowl, flour, yeast, sugar, beaten eggs, melted butter and knead into a soft dough with warm water, cover stand in warm place about 1 hr, until dough double in size, turn dough into a flat surface, knead dough for 5 min until smooth, roll dough into 1 cm thickness, cut into rounds with 2 inch cutter place a tsp of strawberry jam on half the rounds top with reaming rounds press edges together with fingers, place round on greased oven tray cover leave for 20 min until doubled in size, press edges again if necessary, deep fry doughnuts until golden brown, drain on paper, tossed in extra sugar.

Vanilla Glazed Doughnuts

Vanilla Glazed Doughnuts


Ingredients for dough

  • Milk ¾ cup
  • Unsalted butter 3 ounces
  • Flour 3¼ cup
  • Fine sugar 3 ounces
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Instant yeast 2 ½ tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla ½ tsp
Method
  • In a sauce pan combined milk and butter, heat until butter melted, remove from heat, in a mixing bowl combine 2 ½ cup flour, sugar, salt and yeast and beat on low speed to mix add the hot milk mixture, raise the speed to medium and beat until well blended, add the eggs and vanilla and beat until mixed about 2 minutes, add remaining ¾ cup flour and beat until the dough is smooth about 1 minute. Remove place dough in a greased bowl, leave to rise in a warm place until double about 45 minutes, roll the dough into a circle, cut with round doughnut cutter, transfer the doughnut and holes to the greased sheet, cover the doughnut with a clean towel and rise till puffy until 30 minutes. Deep fry doughnut 2 to 3 at a time until golden, turn and cook the second side, when the doughnuts are still warm dip all the sides in vanilla glaze, place on a wire rack until the glaze set.
Ingredients for vanilla glaze
  • Unsalted butter 6 tbsp
  • Icing sugar 2 ½ cup
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • Hot water 5 tbsp or more if required
Method
  • In a bowl whisk together melted butter, icing sugar, vanilla and 5 tbsp hot water until smooth add 1 tbsp hot water more if required, the glaze should be thin, use immediately.

Doughnuts

Ingredients
  • Flour 1 kg
  • Caster sugar 4 ounces
  • Butter melted 200 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp leveled
  • Instant yeast 2 tbsp
  • Eggs 4
  • Powder milk 1 cup
  • Luke warm water to knead
Method
  • In a bowl put Flour 1 kg Caster sugar 4 ounces Butter melted 200 gm Salt 1 tsp leveled Instant yeast 2 tbsp Eggs 4 Powder milk 1 cup and knead with a Luke warm water into a very soft dough, leave to rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour till double, punch down the dough, make into balls then make into smooth balls, press lightly on a foil lined tray and with a small round cutter take out hole to give shape of doughnut, again leave it cover to rise to 35 to 45 minutes when well risen put them to deep fry on very very low flame.
Ingredients for chocolate frosting
  • Icing sugar 1 cup
  • Butter 1 tsp heaped
  • Coco powder 1 tbsp leveled
  • Water 2 tbsp
Method
  • In a pan put Icing sugar 1 cup Butter 1 tsp heaped Coco powder 1 tbsp leveled  Water 2 tbsp, cook for 1 minute, chill, slightly thick and glossy, dip doughnuts in prepared chocolate frosting then roll in any decoration or white chocolate grated or any nuts.
