Fondant

Fondant


Ingredients:
  • 1/2 tbsp gelatins
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp glycerin
  • 1 pound icing sugar
  • Shortening 1 tbsp
Method:
  • Soak the gelatins in cold water, when swells keep on double boiler and melt , when completely melted add all the ingredients except icing sugar, and gently mix with a spoon when mixed, grease your hands with shortening and make a well in icing sugar and pour all the liquid in the centre and start kneading slowly until a soft uniform dough is ready. Keep it for few hours to mature and then apply on cake.
