Baklava By Chef Shireen Anwer

Baklava


Baklava:

Ingredients:
Puff pastry dough ½ kg
Almonds ½ cup
Pistachios chopped ½ cup
Walnuts chopped ½ cup
Ingredients for sugar syrup:
Sugar ` `1 cup
Water ½ cup
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Rose water 1 tbsp



Method:
1. Roll puff pastry into 8 inches square. Line 8 inches square pan with roll puff. Spread with chopped nuts. Put another layer of 8 inches rolled square puff.
2. Give cuts into diagonal or squares. Bake on 250 C for 20 minutes.
3. Remove and pour hot syrup over Baklava.
