Spicy Creamy Potato Salad


Ingredients
  • Potatoes 4 large peeled, cubed and boiled
  • Mayonnaise 6 tbsp heaped
  • Suree chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Hard boiled eggs 2 chopped
  • Green onions 2 tbsp chopped
  • Dill finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Sweet corn 4 tbsp
  • Salt and black pepper ½ tsp each
  • Sugar 1 tbsp heaped
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Salad leaves for garnish
Method
  • Mix all together, serve over bed of salad leaves, chilled.

Spicy Bread Disc

Spicy Bread Disc


Ingredients
  • Bread slices 8 to 10
  • Green chilies 4 chopped
  • Coriander leaves 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Semolina 2 tbsp heaped
  • Crushed red pepper 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Allspice 1 tsp
Method
  • Soak the bread slices in water for 1 minute and squeeze out the water between the palms of your hand, mix all ingredients in the bread and form into dough, divide the dough into 1 tbsp equal parts, flatten and fry, serve hot with chatni or ketchup.

Spicy Fried Chicken

Spicy Fried Chicken


Ingredients
  • Chicken breast boneless cut in 1 inch cubes ½ kg
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Crushed coriander 1 tsp
  • Chili powder ¼ tsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Chat masala ¼ tsp
  • Gram flour 3 tbsp heaped
  • Hoisen Sauce 1 tbsp
Method
  • Mix all above together in paste of coating consistency, marinate your chicken in this for 30 minutes, then spread in bread crumbs, mixed with sesame seeds, deep fry, serve with tamarind chatni.

Spicy Roast Potatoes

Spicy Roast Potatoes 


Ingredients:
  • Potatoes peeled and quartered 750grams
  • Tomato Chopped 2
  • Onion Diced ½
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin ground 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Butter Cubed 50 grams
  • Coriander Chopped to garnish
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Heat a frying pan with some oil, Add onions and cook until soft. Then add garlic paste and spices to the onions and cook until fragrant. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until soft and completely broken down. Season with salt to taste. In the meanwhile, cook the potatoes in a big pot of salted water for 10 minutes or more, until tender. Drain the potatoes well and add them to a baking dish. Smash them slightly with a fork to increase surface area and attain more crispiness. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and mix well to coat the potatoes. Place cubes of butter through the potatoes and bake in a preheated, at 200C oven for 15 minutes or until crisp and golden.
