Savory bread cases


Ingredients
  • White Bread 1 loaf about 12 slices
  • Butter 4 ounces
Ingredients for filling
  • Butter 2 ounce
  • Flour 4 tbsp
  • Cheddar cheese ½ cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp leveled
  • Crushed black pepper ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Sweet corn ½ cup
  • Chicken boiled and shredded 1 cup
Method for bread cases
  • Remove crust from bread, press bread into deep cup cake tray, and brush each bread with melted butter, bake for 10 minutes on 180 degree C until golden, spoon filling into bread cases, place on oven tray, and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese melts.
Method for filling
  • Heat butter add flour with seasonings, remove from heat, add milk and water, mix well, return to heat, cook until thick, add corn and chicken, mix well, put in bread cases, top with cheese and re-bake.
