Curry kofta

Curry kofta


Ingredients
  • Mince beef 400 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 ½ tsp heaped
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Brown onion 2 tbsp
  • Allspice 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds grinded 1 tbsp
  • Roasted gram grinded 1 tbsp
Ingredients for curry
  • Yogurt ½ kg
  • Gram flour 8 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Whole red chilies 6 to 8
  • Curry leaves 25
  • Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for pakoras
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Salt ½ tsp heaped
  • Crushed red pepper1 tsp
  • Onion 1 cup chopped
  • Soda by carb ¼ tsp heaped
Method for koftay
  • Put mince in the chopper with salt, chili powder, ginger garlic, brown onion, allspice, roasted gram, poppy seeds and chopperize well, make into kofta and keep aside.In a blender blend raw onions with 1 tsp ginger garlic, salt 1 tsp, coriander powder 1 tsp, chili powder 1 tsp, heat oil ¼ cup fry blended mixture well till oil comes on top, add koftas in this mixture and cook for 10 minutes.
Method for curry
  • Blend yogurt, gram flour, salt, turmeric and chili powder for 1 minute, put it in a pan and cook stirring all the time till thick, now mix kofta mixture in the curry and cook. Make pakoras, add in the koftas in curry, lastly give baghar with whole red chilies, curry leaves, cumin seeds, serve hot.
