Safaid gosht

Safaid gosht


Ingredients
  • Mutton ½ kg boiled in 2 cups water
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ginger julienne 2 tbsp
  • Almonds grinded 2 tbsp
  • Coconut grinded 1 tbsp
  • White pepper ½ tsp
  • Green cardamom powder ½ tsp
  • Green chilies 4 chopped
  • Cream 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Allspice ¼ tsp
  • Kewra water 1 tsp
Method
  • Boil mutton into 2 cups water till half done, grind together coconut, almonds, green chilies into a fine paste, beat yogurt with salt and white pepper, heat oil add boiled mutton with ginger julienne, fry for 5 minutes add yogurt with 1 cup of water, cover and cook until mutton done, add grinded almond paste, cook for 10 minutes, lastly add cream, lemon juice, Kewra and grinded cardamom, mix and serve hot.
