Chinnnoti biryani
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg
- Rice 750 gm boiled half done with salt
- Oil ¾ cup
- Brown onion crushed ½ cup
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Whole green chilies 8 to 10
- Cloves 6
- Green cardamom 6
- Green cardamom grinded ½ tsp
- Nutmeg grinded ¼ tsp
- Mace grinded ¼ tsp
- Aalu Bukhara 12
- Water 2 cups
- Salt 1 tsp heaped
- Allspice 1 ½ tsp
- Kewra water 1 tsp
- Boil water with salt, cook rice till half done and strain.
- Heat oil add in brown onion, yogurt, chicken, cloves, green cardamom, green chilies, chili powder and salt, cook chicken covered for 20 minutes with 1 cup water when water dries, fry chicken add aalu Bukhara, grinded cardamom, mace and nutmeg powder, cook on medium flame, lastly add allspice and Kewra. Top with boiled rice, put yellow color and leave it on dum for 15 minutes.
