Rattan kaliya
Ingredients
- Mutton ½ kg
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Chili powder 2 tsp heaped
- Coriander powder 2 tsp heaped
- Turmeric ½ tsp heaped
- Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
- Mutton paya 4
- Saffron ½ tsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
- Green chilies chopped 2
- Onion 1 sliced
- Salt 1tsp
- Boil mutton paye with 1 tsp salt, onion, turmeric, ginger garlic 1 tbsp and 1 tsp salt till tender, keep aside, heat half cup oil add 1 tbsp ginger garlic with mutton and all the dry seasonings, fry well add mutton with yogurt, cover and cook till mutton half done, add paye with stock, cook on slow flame till both done and thick gravy left, sprinkle all spice, chopped hara masala and saffron, serve with nan.
