Piyazi kareely
Ingredients
- Kareely ½ kg peeled and cut into thin slices
- Oil ½ cup
- Green chilies 3 sliced
- Onion ½ kg sliced
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Khatai powder 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Onion seeds ½ tsp
- Yogurt ½ cup
Method
- Peel kareely, cut into slices, rub 1 tsp salt, keep for half an hour, wash well, heat oil, fry kareely till light golden, remove from oil, fry onion till light golden, add kareelay with roasted and grinded coriander seeds, fennel seeds, onions seeds, chili powder, salt, add yogurt, fry well, add kareelay, leave it on dum, lastly add sugar and remove.
