Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Theses are handy if you want a brownie tasting cookie and don't have butter.

These are very easy to mix up.
A few basic ingredients you probably have in the pantry. I use just one bowl.
Mix the sugar into the melted chocolate and oil.
Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
Dump the flour and BP into a sifter and mix that in.
After it's mixed you need to chill it for at least 1 hour so that you can roll it into balls.
Put some powdered sugar into a shallow bowl and roll the balls into the sugar to coat.
Put on a sprayed cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 400.
Top off this experience with a glass of cold milk.
Have a few now...
and save some for later.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
2 squares baking chocolate
1/4 C vegetable/canola oil
1 C sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 C flour
1 t baking powder
powdered sugar for rolling-about 1/3 C

Melt chocolate squares in a medium bowl in the microwave for 1-/1/2 minutes. Stir to melt completely.
Stir in then oil. Mix in the sugar, then the eggs, then the vanilla until thoroughly combined. Add the flour and BP through a sifter and mix in. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Moisten your hands with water and roll the dough into 1" balls and then roll into the powdered sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes, or till the edges are set and the tops are cracked.  Don't overbake.  Remove from cookie sheet and let cool.
Enjoy!
